Childhood Cancer kills more kids in the U.S. than asthma, pediatric AIDS, Cystic Fibrosis, diabetes, Muscular Dystrophy, and genetic anomolies COMBINED.

Childhood Cancers are a specific set of cancer diseases which affect kids. They are not the same types of cancers found in adults.

1 in 285 kids will develop cancer before the age of 20

The incidence of Childhood Cancer is steadliy increasing at a rate of .6% PER YEAR and no one knows why.

Childhood Cancers are not the result of lifestyle factors or poor health as are many adult cancers.

43 kids PER DAY are diagnosed with cancer in the United States.

Worldwide, a child is diagnosed every 3 minutes

The average age a child is diagnosed with cancer is 6 years old. The average age of death is 8.

1 in 5 children will die during the first five years of their cancer diagnosis.

1 out of every 5 children who "survive" cancer still end up dying once they've surpassed their five year mark.

When children die of cancer, they lose an average of 70 years off their natural life expectancy.
